The nitty-gritty details of having me speak at your event

Because I’m not your usual presenter, some meeting planners worry about special details. Here’s what you need to know.

Getting There

For events held in Vancouver, British Columbia, and surrounding area, I will take public transit and/or taxi (or equivalent). Any costs beyond bus fare will be charged as Travel Expenses.

For events where air travel is necessary, I will require wheelchair-accessible transportation from the airport to the venue, and to the hotel (if overnight is needed). All costs (including hotel) will be charged as Travel Expenses.

Venue

Obviously, a wheelchair accessible entrance to the venue is required. If the stage is a raised platform, a ramp or an operating lift (recently tested) is necessary. Access to an accessible washroom is also a necessity.

Audio-Visual Requirements

For my presentation, I require:

  • A PC laptop with Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 (I can bring one, if needed)
  • An LCD projector
  • A 1/8th audio jack cable to my iPad Air to the venue’s sound system

2018-19 Fees

My engagements require a speaking fee and travel (airfare and hotel) costs. My speaking fee for my signature talk Finding Your True Dream, The North Star for Your Life is $1800 (plus GST where applicable).

Can you reduce your fee?

I recognize that some organizations and events sometime struggle with budgetary constraints. If you need help affording my rates, ask me. I’ll do my best to help make it happen.

Got Questions?

Do you have any questions? Please do not hesitate to ask when booking me. No question is too small. It is better to be well prepared than to have unexpected hurdles the day of the event. (I know! I’ve been there.)

Are you curious where I have presented?
